Sushi & Chardonnay at Sevruga

The  V&A Waterfront is my sushi capital of Cape Town! There are so many great restaurants at the Waterfront, with new ones popping up all the time, but Sevruga is definitely my favourite spot.

On a beautiful day you can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the crowd enjoying the carefree atmosphere. Old and young, business suits and tourists, everyone always seems to be enjoying a holiday feeling.

For a more serious business meeting, or maybe a romantic dinner you can choose to enjoy the more formal ambience inside.

The sushi platters are always fantastic, but I’ve recently discovered the Carin’s roll.

8 pieces of prawn tempura, creamy seven spice prawn, spring onion, & teriyaki glaze.

Salmon roses, and fashion sandwiches, are always a good choice if you feel like the more traditional sushi choices.

The wine is as important as the food at Sevruga. There are more than 200 wines and vintages to choose from, and the impressive Sevruga’s Wine Wall displays more than 3000 bottles of wine.

Sushi and cocktails are half price Monday to Saturdays from 12h00 – 18h00, and 14h00 – 18h00 on a Sunday!

Perfect location, fantastic food and impeccable service – definitely worth the accolades.
